It’s been awhile since we updated this blog. After the last fashion show, we were overwhelmed with Christmas, birthdays, New Years, so we gave ourselves a long deserved break. Now back in action, D4L is trying to figure out its future. We are attempting to go in the direction of making this into a company. We believe that D4L is great for any community and something essential in the art and fundraising world.
With that being said we are now working on what could potentially be our last event in Wilmington. This is event is going to be huge. I’ve freed up my schedule so D4L can devote everything to this show.
So here are the details so far:
Fashion Show at Sputnik Friday, February 25th.
Featuring more designers than we have ever had before.
The fashion show will also feature a short film screening to promote our cause.
We are raising money for Jeff Reynolds, an independent filmmaker who is following the case of Justin Wolfe, a man on death row for a crime he did not commit.
We are excited to work with both Sputnik and Edge of Urge on this show. Edge of Urge will be helping us in several ways, such as featuring designers in their blog and having a Launch your Line a few days after the show to make the clothes available to sell.
