On April 22nd 2010, Dance 4 Liberation worked with the Houston Moore Afterschool Program to put on a photo exhibit. The kids took pictures of their favorite places and people. The event took place in Bottega Wine & Art. Performances by Jack and the Wild Things, Vonnegutrade, and Cold Art. This project was also funded by Mixgrotto. Here is what they saw:

The vision for this project was to create a space for the HMAP kids to express themselves creatively while exploring the strengths and beauty within their own community. The children were asked to take pictures (independent of adult assistance) of special people, places and things specifically found in their community, Houston Moore.
